नायक अब्दुल हमीद

Story

नायक अब्दुल हमीद भारतीय सेना के एक वीर सैनिक थे जिन्हें 1965 के भारत-पाक युद्ध में अद्वितीय साहस और बलिदान के लिए परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया। वे 4 ग्रेनेडियर्स रेजिमेंट में तैनात थे और खेमकरण सेक्टर में लड़े। जब पाकिस्तानी सेना ने अमेरिकी पैटन टैंकों के साथ हमला किया, तब नायक अब्दुल हमीद ने अदम्य साहस का परिचय देते हुए अपने रिकॉइललेस गन से कई दुश्मन टैंकों को नष्ट कर दिया।

युद्ध के दौरान वे लगातार दुश्मन पर प्रहार करते रहे और अपने साथियों को प्रेरित करते रहे। अंततः वे वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए, लेकिन उनका बलिदान भारतीय सेना की बहादुरी का प्रतीक बन गया। नायक अब्दुल हमीद का नाम आज भी भारतीय सैनिकों के साहस और राष्ट्रप्रेम की मिसाल है।

Naik Abdul Hamid was a brave soldier of the Indian Army who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his supreme courage and sacrifice during the 1965 India-Pakistan war. He served in the 4 Grenadiers Regiment and fought in the Khem Karan sector. When the Pakistani army launched an offensive with American-made Patton tanks, Naik Abdul Hamid displayed unmatched bravery by destroying several enemy tanks with his recoilless gun.

He continued to attack the enemy and inspire his comrades until he attained martyrdom. His sacrifice became a symbol of Indian Army’s valor and determination. Naik Abdul Hamid’s name remains etched in history as an everlasting inspiration of courage and patriotism.
