लेफ्टिनेंट अरुण खेत्रपाल भारतीय सेना के एक वीर और निडर अधिकारी थे, जिन्हें 1971 के भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध में असाधारण साहस और नेतृत्व के लिए मरणोपरांत परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया। वे 17वीं पूना हॉर्स रेजिमेंट से संबंधित थे और केवल 21 वर्ष की आयु में उन्होंने अद्भुत वीरता का परिचय दिया। बसंतर नदी के मोर्चे पर उन्होंने अपने टैंक दस्ते के साथ दुश्मन के कई टैंकों को नष्ट कर दिया और भारतीय सेना को निर्णायक बढ़त दिलाई। इस पॉडकास्ट एपिसोड में हम जानेंगे कि लेफ्टिनेंट अरुण खेत्रपाल की वीरता, नेतृत्व और बलिदान ने भारतीय सेना के इतिहास में कैसे अमर स्थान प्राप्त किया।

Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal was one of the most courageous officers of the Indian Army, posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his exemplary bravery during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. Serving with the 17th Poona Horse Regiment, he displayed extraordinary valor at the Battle of Basantar, destroying several enemy tanks and leading his unit to victory despite being heavily outnumbered.

We will also highlight his indomitable spirit and famous last words — *”No Sir, I will not abandon my tank. My gun is still working and I will get these bastards.”* His fearless courage, leadership, and sacrifice continue to inspire generations, making Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal a legend in the annals of Indian military history.
