कारवां सराय प्राचीन भारत और मध्य एशिया के व्यापार मार्गों का एक अहम हिस्सा रही है। यह यात्रियों और व्यापारियों के लिए बने विश्राम स्थल या सराय हुआ करती थी, जहाँ वे लंबी यात्राओं के दौरान रुककर विश्राम, भोजन और सुरक्षा प्राप्त करते थे। राजस्थान जैसे रेगिस्तानी इलाकों में कारवां सरायों का विशेष महत्व था, क्योंकि ये न केवल व्यापारिक ठिकाने थे बल्कि सांस्कृतिक आदान-प्रदान और मेल-जोल के केंद्र भी बन चुके थे। इस पॉडकास्ट एपिसोड में हम जानेंगे कि कारवां सराय का इतिहास, स्थापत्य कला और सामाजिक महत्व क्या था।

These roadside inns provided food, shelter, and safety to merchants, travelers, and pilgrims journeying through long and difficult terrains.
